Nine7One | The Oberoi Hotel, Dubai

The finesse of The Oberoi Group is known worldwide, as the bespoke luxury is maintained over the years with a keen insight to service excellence all from the humble beginnings in India to an international success conquering the globe.

The Oberoi Dubai opened its door with a soft opening on June 2013, a date of humility for one to remember. An invite to experience The Oberoi in Dubai was extended my way and I could not resist experiencing what I have heard so much from family and friends.

Three dine in options are available at The Oberoi Dubai,
Nine7One – contemporary all day dining, Ananta – authentic North Indian cuisine and Umai – far eastern culinary adventure.

Nine7One, cleverly named after the area code of UAE, beholds an all day dining experience (breakfast-lunch-dinner) which caters to each individual liking, even those with picky tastebuds!

Chef Dirk Haltenhof, the Executive Chef of The Oberoi, Dubai provides an insight to Nine7One’s culinary offerings, from international servings, with entrées served buffet style and the main dishes placed on the table, direct from the kitchen.

Molecular Gastronomy does its round around the kitchen at Nine7One and the other two restaurants as well; mainly with the desserts creating blobs of scientific goodness that adorn the desserts. How does a spherical mango or raspberry taste? Amazing! Although, you’ll have to experience it out for yourself.

A magnificent lunch speared awaited my arrival, from salads made with seasonal vegetables and fruits with freshly baked bread straight out from the brick oven.

Delectable desserts along with a thick flow of a Valrhona chocolate fountain gloriously layering over select fresh fruits. Mmm!

A fresh Atlantic Cod atop of seasonal imported asparagus plated with a pea puree, tomatoes, and pickled beetroot was a perfect welcome to all that Nine7One has to offer its diners.
