*TRIBES Grill & Cafe – Mall of The Emirates
If you’re in search for an offbeat Iftar, take your taste buds on a journey to Tribes at Mall of Emirates that offer a set menu which includes traditional Arabic favorites such as creamed cheese cushioned with Medjool dates, a hearty harrira soup savored with the famed Tribes freshly baked bread, along with a meaty sweet Africanphoto (6) spring roll from the South African delights. For your mains, enjoy a sharing platter of a three hour cooked, flawlessly tender Oyster Blade Roast served with well seasoned roasted vegetables gushed down with a freshly prepared fruit cocktail. The Tribes iftar experience ends with a nutty filled baklava and dates.

*Ewaan – The Palace Downtown Dubai
I’ve always adored The Palace Downtown Dubai, especially the Ewaan Lounge and Restaurant. The delicious Arabesque Iftar at Ewaan is one to visit this year to experience phototraditional Arabian delicacies mixed with a blend of continental, from freshly made pasta, to the Indian tandoor grill serving subtle spiced seafood and meats to a delectable roasts and steaming hot-out-the-oven breads/rotis along with a mix of freshly made salad and the ever so famous Arabic condiments to compliment a perfectly cooked Fish Sayadia and the Iftar special, Ouzi. The desserts section is a gleaming galore of saccharine heaven with rows of flavored macrons in addition to the every so popular Arabic desserts and a mix of pastries all beautifully prepared by the amazing pastry Chef Vrushali.

Zafran caters a desi (Indian) Iftar in a contemporary setting situated inside a mall as the reasonably priced Iftar offers an array of Indian favorites with a blend of Arabic customary delights that are bound to please. A mix of Indian and Arabic entrées ranging from a chickpea based hummus and the eggplant based photobabaghanoush, to the ever so crunchy Indian Papadums with assortment of condiments such as chutneys, sauces, savoury chaat and much more! A hearty dal shorba (soup) compliments the spiced baby roasted potatoes along with a crispy samosas. The tandoori selections are savored with a mint based chutney and steamy fully rotis/naans. In addition, the Iftar is relished with a section of the popular gravy’s such as a butter chicken along with a semi spiced rogan gosht and the king of rice, a chicken biryani accompanied with a raita. The desserts are a mix of authentic sweets such and the gulab jamuns submerged in a bowl of sugary syrup to the soft, melt-in-your-mouth rasmalai soaking in the saffron laced milk to the Arabic selections of umai ali and more to experience at Zafran.

Iftar at Gozo Gradern serves up and array of traditional and international eats, from the Iftar offerings such an the perfectly cooked and spiced Ouzi, to a freshly made shawarma accompanied with a mix of freshlyphoto (1) made salads with a mix of dressing. The main are a blend, from seafood to pastas and rice dishes along with snow shell crab, prawns and oysters! Fresh fruits for desserts are plenty on display with cream based deserts to end an Iftar at Millennium Airport Hotel, Dubai.
