I could taste the freshness with each bite and in that precise moment, it’s all I ever wanted. That my dear friends, is the EXACT feeling I experienced as I savored the food at Eataly.
The concept is simple, they sell what they cook and if it pleases, we buy what they sell and in turn, put our culinary skills into full gear to master what Eataly plates up. Okay, maybe not master but come close to the taste and freshness which the taste buds pleasured.
I absolutely LOVED the Bufala Pizza with its soft yet doughy crustiness sauced with a simplistic tomato base and the melted stringiness from the oozing buffalo mozzarella which played games with my taste, games that I would participate in ALL DAY, EVERYDAY.
My eggplant parmigiana recipe is the most read recipe on the blog. Why? Because it’s so damn good, that’s why! I spot the parmigiana on the menu with wordings that made me drool.
Freshness is my go to word, and as I inquired not once, but twice if the calamari ordered would be fresh, I was assured it would be and, oh boy, it was FRESH! The crispy yet airy batter coated the crunchy fresh calamari’s accompanied with a mayonnaise and chives based dip.
Albeit a great dine in experience, I must say, the lack of local water on the menu was disappointing as an import bottle sold for AED25, I resorted to a freshly prepared fruit cocktail which I’m happy to announce did not include any added syrup and was priced less than a bottle of water.
A meal well worth savoring repeatedly! So make your way down to Eataly this instance and taste the freshness with every bite.
