Livefreshr – Fresh made Easy
The latest grocery home delivery service in Dubai is on a quest to ensure Dubai eats healthy, fresh, and cooks up a convenient meal at home, as I personally experienced with my three-day stint using Livefreshr. My three-day “meat eaters” box included three recipes; each from a different cuisine, with the recipes mentioning the time as well and the steps for one to follow when cooking.

Yay!
• Ingredients were perfectly packed in boxes, cling wrap etc. in exact portions to avoid wastage.

Nay!

• Website sign-up is a bit confusing at start but quick overall
• The value for money would be dependent on individuals/family house hold weekly or monthly spend.

Cook-A-Box:
A newbie in the market, cook-a-box has an ease of selection with set menus displayed on the website for one to choose with a quick delivery with an excellent compact packaging. The recipe range from salads to mains, albeit limited in options, ‘tis enough to make one salivate at the images displayed on the website.

U’ve Got Meal:
A stir into a different direction, U’ve Got Meal caters healthy all day meals for the health bug in you. My two weeks stint courtesy U’ve Got Meal consisted of fresh made meals for the day opted from a list e-mailed a week before the delivery week in order to select from a range of healthy vegetarian and non vegetarian options which include breakfast, snacks for the day, lunch and dinner which are all ready to consume, only with need to pre-heat the labeled pre-packed ‘fresh’ meals.

Yay!
• Daily morning delivery of a full day’s meal.
• Packed well in an ice bag and well labeled.
• A filling meal plan with an attractive daily meal variation.

Nay!
• Morning delivery time may vary due to reasons such a traffic, which I experience twice with a delay in breakfast consumption.
• As the meals are meant for the whole day, commitments such an parties, events and so on means sacrifices of either-or.

*On a side note, I was unsure about the calorie intake of the meals that were delivered daily. I advise a talk with the U’ve Got Meal nutritionist prior to a commitment for full clarity.

If you’re looking for a change in diet or need for assistance due to a busy schedule, any of the above three options would be advisable, even for a week, just to get a hang till you pin an ultimate decision.
