  1. Hi, Jasmine,

My name is Courtney Lichterman and I’m an editor at Trippy.com, a Q&A community that exists to encourage more people to travel.

I came across your incredible blog and was so impressed! I’m contacting you as we just launched a Trippy Ambassador program, and we’re looking for three Dubai influencers to represent the city on the site.

I wanted to invite you to join Trippy by signing up at http://www.trippy.com and answer/ask a few questions to get a feel for the community and our mission.

From there, I would love to chat about being an Ambassador and filling you in on all the advantages of being one.

Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them!

    Take care,

  2. I was wondering, are you prohibited by law in Dubai to leave not favorable comments about the restaurants, or you are paid by the places you write reviews on?

    1. Hi there, thanks for stopping by and the comment. There are rules in regards to defamation and/or negativity. One can state opinions diplomatically (or with proof, if available) to stand by your views. To be honest, it is still a bit of a grey area in terms in terms of review or blogging laws in Dubai but most are aware of the setbacks as well of being openly negative. In addition, to answer your query restaurants do no pay for reviews and nor should they, as it clouds the judgment of the reviewer. Hope that helps!

  3. Dear Jasmine,
Just got a chance to view your blog. Your blog is absolutely Intriguing. Way to go Jas. Keep up the good work. You will be the shining star in UAE soon. God Bless.
